Stratholme, once a thriving city within Lordaeron, now serves as a somber testament to the Scourge's devastating influence. Players enter Stratholme to purge it of the Scourge's corruption and thwart the zealots of the Scarlet Crusade.

- The Slaughterhouse: Deep within the undead section, this grim area is inhabited by abominations and overseen by Baron Rivendare, surrounded by undead minions and plague-spreaders;
- Elders' Square and King's Square: These areas are overrun by the Scourge, populated with skeletal warriors, necromancers, and other undead horrors.
Stratholme is unique for pitting players against two opposing factions, each with its own bosses and minions, demanding diverse strategies and adaptability.
