Most of the enemy types inside are dragonkin and humanoid, and the raid resets once a week. Every boss within Blackwing Lair has a chance to drop Tier 2 gear, with the exception of leggings and head slots, that drop from Ragnaros and Onyxia. In addition to Tier 2 gear, Blackwing Lair has many notable weapons including, but not limited to: Ashkandi, Greatsword of the Brotherhood, Claw of the Black Drake, Dragonbreath Hand Cannon and Chromatically Tempered Sword to name a few.
